So you can spend more time creating an awesome presentation! So before we get into the specifics of each presentation software, you should know a little bit more about the companies behind these products. Microsoft has been around since and has remained one of the top leaders in software and technology.

In , they released one of their first versions of Microsoft Office, a suite of applications designed to improve productivity.

This makes it the oldest company in the presentation software space, compared to Apple Keynote and Google Slides. Their initial focus was on making computers accessible and small enough so everyone could have one in their home or office. This decision changed computers forever. If you were to choose a presentation software based solely on its history and experience, Microsoft Office has both Apple Keynote and Google Slides beat.

PowerPoint , along with Keynote and Slides, comes stacked with your basic presentation options, such as the ability to:. Another shared feature between PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Keynote is the capability to make changes in real-time and share those updates with team members from anywhere in the world.

Microsoft also lets you create custom animations by combining some of their existing animation options. Next, you can also use the secure Touch ID passcode on supported Mac products to ensure your slideshow and important data never fall into the wrong hands.

This feature means anyone who receives access to the slides must have the correct user fingerprint before they can proceed with opening or using the slideshow. Simply connect to iCloud to pull up your presentation and then use your phone as your slideshow moderator. Best Portable Monitors. Best Gaming Keyboards. Best Drones. Best 4K TVs. I practically grew up on Google, so I just knew it and automatically used Google Drive. I find nothing wrong with it except for one small thing that was not near frustrating enough to make me remove a star.

If it could be arranged to where we on mobile devices could edit files directly through the Drive app and not through branch apps like Slides, Docs, and Sheets, that would be greatly appreciated. You will not regret. So, yes. I hope everyone takes this into account.

Hi there. Thanks for sharing with us! Happy to hear you're enjoying the experience. I overall really like the functionality of drive. There are just a few kind of UI and workflow things that I'd really love to see implemented. It would be great to have a more customizable storage system where you weren't limited to the different macro-tabs like home, starred, shared, and files.

It would be cool if we could add our own to make drive the most optimum file storage system for us. It would also be great if there was a way to enable those same tabs, just in different iterations for different file types, so that I could just swipe over to another screen and see all of my starred and shared mp4 files, swipe again to see PDFS, and again to see JPEGs and PSD's or something like that.

Additionally, it would be amazing if the download functionality was less cumbersome. I'd love to be able to open the share sheet, and just have the normal iPad menu system options of saving to files or doing all that other stuff.
