Why my revvl plus wont download apps

Most of my devices run Android 10 currently. I have that same app on each device and it runs fine. Like I said. I can agree to disagree about your device being a value device. Perhaps T-Mobile includes some sort of custom scheduler that runs to kill off things that sit in memory too long. Well the phone's killing my security system apps that I use for my home so I don't get notified when my cameras are detecting movement properly it's killing my life app that I use to monitor my family's safety and locations when they're driving.

Crash detection doesn't work, because it's not monitoring them while they're moving because it's being killed in the background. The phone seems like a nice phone, but under no circumstances should it do things that I have set it to not do. Let's hope somebody from T-Mobile actually reads this and can help us with something that's wrong, because I'm ready to throw this phone at the face of the guy that told me it's an upgrade from the LG G7.

I have never had half these problems with the LG G7 so yeah I'm a little pissed. That my safety and security apps don't work because the phone does what it wants when it wants.

Customer support for these apps and troubleshooting the apps everything should be set the way it's supposed to be set to work properly in the background and for me to be notified properly. However after about a half an hour to an hour from when I last use the apps I stopped receiving notifications from them! I had the same problem with my email app. I turned the auto start on manually for Spark and Bitdefender and the problem is solved after that. Similar problems, and some others.

Texts from some numbers show up twice in notifications. Random "no cellular network available" messages, even when I have 5g and all bars. Reboot usually clears it, but I've never had to reboot a phone so much in my life.

I believe there's a fundamental flaw somewhere. Just to make that clear - I got it fixed, which means they sent me a new phone. Exactly the same problem. I got the Galaxy A Immediately, everything just works. No problems. No hassles. T-Mobile should do the right thing and issue a refund for anyone who wants one. I have the same issues everyone describes and it is discouraging that there is no solution for it. I love everything else about the phone except this. I hope T-Mobile will address it eventually.

I saw a post about the Smart Manager app in this thread. In the settings for this app I turned off battery optimization. Since I have done that my important apps are running their background processes. My Smart Manager app does not show an Auto Start setting but when I turned off Battery Optimization for this app, background processes for my other apps started running. I think the Smart Manager app is the culprit for these issues and I think I have found a fix.

Thanks for the suggestion! Problem fixed, read this to solve the issue by changing phone and app settings on Revvl 5G. Blink app was not pushing notifications, here is what I did and it is working perfect now. As written above, notifications were not being pushed, and I would only get them after I opened the app. The app would get turned off by the phone after some time. It was very frustrating. Turn off Automatically Manage and make sure your app is set to Auto-Start. In my case it was Blink.

I also turned off a bunch of garbage that didn't need to autostart. You can do this with other apps, for example I turned it on for all the google privacy stealing garbage so they don't run in the background.

Hope this helps. Revvl 5 is a pretty good phone overall, but there are a few issues like this that should be in the manual, but are not. Already have an account? Enter your username or e-mail address.
